The readings for the Feast of the Nativity of John the Baptist are: Malachi 3:1-4, Psalm 141, Acts 13:13-26, Luke 1:57-80.

In the tender mercy of our God, the dawn from on high shall break upon us bringing light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death and to guide our feet into the way of peace.

May the God who brings that dawn, bless you this day. Amen.
