Being Part of the Story

Today we celebrated both the Seventh Sunday of the Easter and the Feast of the Visitation–when the Blessed Virgin Mary visited her kinswoman Elizabeth and they both realized the roles they played in the Salvation Story.

The readings are: I Samuel 2:1-10; Psalm 97; Revelation 22:12-14, 16-17, 20-21; Luke 1:39-57.

You can listen to Pastor Jay’s sermon here:

Christ Like Water

The readings for The Ascension of Our Lord are: Acts 1:1-11; Psalm 47; Ephesian 1:15-23; Luke 24:44-53.

Christ Ascension gathered for worship on this, one of our namesake feasts, with siblings from St John’s (Melrose Park), Reformation (Mt Airy), and Bethany (Roxborough).

Pastor Linnea Clark from St John’s, Melrose Park preached. You can listen to her sermon here:

God has gone up with a shout! Alleluia!

Jesus Shows Up!

Alleluia! Christ is risen!

The readings for the Second Sunday of Easter are: Acts 5:27-32; Psalm 150; Revelation 1:4-8; John 20:19-31.

We welcomed Pastor Becca Ehrlich while Pastor Jay was on vacation. We thank her for leading us in worship as we continue to dance in the Resurrection Dawn!

You can listen to her sermon here:

Christ is risen, indeed! Alleluia!
